Most people today are aging too rapidly and are dying from something that could be prevented. You can enjoy greater health at any age. You can take charge of your health and slow down the aging process…beginning now!
That’s what Judy L. McFarland said in her book “Aging Without Growing Old”.
Well, I’m not promoting the book though, instead I want to focus on resveratrol, the anti-aging substance, that can prevent aging.
Resveratrol was discovered by Dr. David Sinclair from Harvard Medical School by accident. When he stumbled upon this protein molecule from red wine he almost fell off his chair because scientists have found that red wine is good for our health but until now they could not identify or isolate the elusive substance that’s responsible for this.
This molecule controls your aging process by resetting your body biological clock. It was found that resveratrol works on the gene called NPT1 that controls the aging process. It searches out that gene and switches it on and thus slowing down aging. In an experiment with mice, when this gene was activated it was found they could live 30% longer and had no heart disease and cancer whatsoever.
How Many Glasses of Red Wine Should You Consume?
But wait! You should not simply gulp the red wine yet. According to Dr. David Sinclair you probably need to drink about 1000 bottles of red wine a day in order to have that same beneficial effect! So the best way is not to drink wine at all, instead take resveratrol that are extracted from red grapes by pharmaceutical companies.
Resveratrol Could Control Weight Loss and Destroy Cancer.
Further research around the world found that not only resveratrol slow down aging process, but it could also control your excess weight as well. Others found that it could even destroy cancer cells.
Which Method of Delivery is the Best?
Be very cautious when you buy resveratrol supplements. Below is a quick guide on how to buy the best resveratrol based on its absorption.
Method of Delivery (% absorption)
Transdermal Patch (55%)
Intra-Muscular Injection (90%)
Intra-Oral Spray (98%)
Based on the above data you will find that taking resveratrol in the form of tablet or pill will result in only 10% absorption. The 90% will go into the drain. Meaning that it is not absorbed by your body. Therefore, the best way to get resveratrol is via intra-oral spray which is 98% absorption, period.
If you are not careful though, you could get ripped off by buying cheap low absorbing resveratrol pills and capsules that finally end up in the drain.
I would like to recommend that in order to get best benefit of resveratrol, it should be combined with any other anti-aging substances and antioxidants such as acai, goji, noni, mangosteen, amalki, aloe vera, pomegranate, maqui, black currant, grape seed extract and pine bark extract.
